  Vispassana is highly indoctrinating, full of dogma and the teachers pressurised me to stay when I decided to leave. Shiva destroyer energy; if you're looking for a place to relax this is not it. If you're an overachiever type that has to "do enough" to be "enough" or the type who believes you'll gain endless happiness and enlightenment then you'll probably stay till the end and convince yourself it was great after by repressing all of the dogma received during the state of trance. Awful, awful centres.
